Nonprofit leaders, you're guiding your organization to its greatest potential.
(And you'd rather get there faster and with fewer obstacles.)
I help leaders like you by (1) aligning your network with the right message at the right time, so that you can (2) spend less time overcoming roadblocks and more time driving your mission forward.
Hi, I'm Angela Marino.
I think the most underrated skill for nonprofit CEOs is buy-in.
I’ve yet to see a job description that lists it, but the ability to gain buy-in is critical to every aspect of nonprofit leadership.
And yet it's not taught and it's not always intuitive, especially given the unique set of challenges nonprofit CEOs face, including:
1) managing a wide array of stakeholders, each with their own needs, expectations, and power dynamics, while also
2) selling not a tangible product, but the idea of a better world.
As a nonprofit leader, you must inspire people to part with their hard-earned dollars for a cause and run a sophisticated organization impacting real lives, all while confronting outdated societal beliefs about the sector.
I spent 18 years inside a nonprofit, working alongside and advising visionary CEOs focused on creating transformative change.
Here’s what I learned: vision alone is not enough. Success depends on the hard work of gaining buy-in through building relationships, earning trust, delivering the right messages at the right time, and fostering true alignment around a shared vision.

As Chief Marketing and Major Gifts Officer, I lived this. Through lots of trial and error, I learned how to build
buy-in for my own ideas and those of others. These lessons shaped my career, enabling me to help the organization drive change on both local and national levels.
Now, I help nonprofit CEOs gain buy-in for their organization's next big move.
My approach goes well beyond "good communications." I partner with you to bring your organization together under a shared vision, turning big ideas into transformative change.

You have big things to accomplish. The cause you serve is too important for anything less.

I can help you get there.

What happens when your
organization is aligned around a shared vision?
Leaders go from Concerned to Confident
"I don't know if we can do this."
transforms into
"I understand where we're headed and my role in getting us there."

Teams go from Overwhelmed to Empowered
"I can't possibly take this on without burning out."
becomes
"I have what I need to be fully invested in our organization as we evolve."

Stakeholders go from Confused to Inspired
"Why are they doing this?"
shifts to
"I can't wait to be a part of it!"
